as part of the tending together project, i hosted a workshop with the ruskin park community garden in south london, where we engaged in a collaborative role-playing activity. it was a wonderful experience connecting with local garden volunteers. during the closing discussion, participants named their council and shared the ideas they developed during the game. this group named themselves the council of m.o.o.f. (movement of organic farmers + friends) and speculated on ideas such as new irrigation systems, laws to move away from monocultures, and strategies for resource trade with neighboring communities.
